Burglary, Vehicle – Arrest Made

700 BLK of Jerrold Ave
On 12/31/18, Central Station Plainclothes Officers conducted auto burglary abatement in the area of Embarcadero and Bay Street. The Officers saw two suspects looking into parked vehicles. The suspects then shattered the window and removed bags from the vehicle. As the Officers approached to arrest the suspects, they broke free and began fleeing on foot. The Officers chased the suspects and were successful in taking Suspect #1 into custody.
Suspect #1 was booked at County Jail for burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, conspiracy and resisting arrest.
Suspect #2 climbed over a fence into a housing complex. An Officer waited at the front door of the complex for the suspect. After 10 minutes, a subject similar to Suspect #2 exited the complex and boarded a MUNI bus. However, the subject was wearing different clothing, therefore the Officer did not apprehend the subject. Through surveillance footage of the housing complex, the Officers confirmed that the subject had removed his outer clothing.
A crime bulletin was created and the suspect was identified. A request was then made to attempt to locate Suspect #2 and arrest him.
On 1/15/19, Bayview Station Officers located Suspect #2 and took him into custody. Suspect #2 was booked into County Jail for burglary, possession of stolen property, conspiracy and resisting arrest.

Hemlock St/Larkin St
On 1/20/19, Central Officers conducting routine patrol in the area of Larkin St and Sutter St located a stolen Honda Civic driving westbound on Hemlock St. Officers conducted a stop on the vehicle and took the driver into custody. Officer located a screwdriver on the driver’s possession, a tool used by vehicle thieves to start vehicle ignitions. The suspect was booked at the county jail for vehicle theft, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of burglary tools, and driving unlicensed.
Robbery, Chain Store, With Force; Burglary, Store, Unlawful Entry, Stolen Property, Possession With Knowledge, Receiving - Arrest Made

Unit BLK of Drumm St
On 1/16/19, Central Station Officers responded to a robbery on the Unit BLK of Drumm. As the Officers arrived, the victim waved down the Officers and told them that the suspect fled down to the BART level. Officers went down to the BART level and the victim pointed the suspect out to the Officers. The Officers detained the suspect.
The Officers learned from the victim that the suspect entered the store and jumped over the counter. The suspect began putting cigarettes into his backpack. The victim confronted the suspect and a struggle ensued. The suspect then pushed the victim causing him to hit his head against a food display. The suspect threatened to kill the victim if he did not step aside. Fearing for his safety, the victim stepped aside. The suspect went back behind the register and filled his backpack with lottery scratcher tickets. The suspect then fled the store and went to the BART level where he was detained.
Officers learned that the suspect had also entered the store on 1/6/19 and stole cigarettes by jumping over the counter.
The suspect was booked at County Jail for robbery, burglary and possession of stolen property.
Resisting a Peace Officer, Battery on a Peace Officer, Trespassing- Arrest Made

1000 BLK of Bush St
On 1/23/19, Central Officer responded to a landlord/tenant dispute. Officers contacted the property manager who advised that a prior tenant/suspect had been legally evicted, but the suspect has continued to return to the property. Officers advised the suspect to leave the premises, but the suspect refused to leave. When officers attempted to take the suspect into custody, the suspect resisted and tried to kick the officers. The initial officers at the scene requested additional back up officers for assistance in taking the resisting suspect into custody. Additional officers arrived and assisted in taking the suspect into custody.
Three officers sustained injuries while trying to overcome the suspect’s resistance.
The suspect was booked at the County Jail for violation of resisting a peace officer, battery on a peace officer, and trespassing.
